Thorough Study and time-bound Preparation Help Students Crack IIT JEE

Brilliant, mediocre and average students of 10+2 standard have an equal prospect of competing in engineering entrance examination. The first and foremost requirement on the part of engineering aspirants is that they must be sincere, serious and thorough in their preparation for the examination. Labour never goes in vain. If the students have laboured hard honestly, their chances of success are always very high. One thing also is kept in mind that there are many other engineering entrance examinations than IIT JEE. Engineering, medical and management aspirants must always hope for the best but at the same time, they must always be prepared to face the worst. They are only required to study hard to get through the examination. Never get disillusioned and dejected as success and failure are the ways of life. When one gets is closed, thousand open. So, appear at the coming engineering entrance examinations with full confidence and hope of coming out successful. As all fingers are not of the same length, all students cannot be of the same merit. But the hope is there for all of them.
All are not of the same merit
It is the gift of nature that the intelligence of one student differs from the other. Among the two groups of students, the one is brilliant and the other is mediocre or of average merit. But it does not mean that only brilliant students have engineering prospects. No, all are equally capable of cracking engineering exams after doing or appearing at 10+2 examination. It is an also a well-acknowledged fact the brilliant students of science stream with Mathematics generally crack the IIT or NIT Entrance Examinations and start pursuing engineering education in one of the IITs or NITs. But it is not only the first aim of brilliant and also of the mediocre and average students of class 10+2 standard of science stream to crack the IIT or NIT Entrance Examination only because of its craze among them.
There are also other reputed engineering colleges than IITs/NITs
Undoubtedly, IIT is the premier technical institution of the country. NITs are also good technological institutes run by govt. The brilliant students are mostly studying in these technical institutions. But the way is not closed here itself. There are also a number of engineering colleges of IIT or NIT standard or even better than that being run by private organizations in the country. From the point of view of engineering educational infrastructure, these private engineering colleges are not behind IIT or NIT. They provide all facilities of research and practical work to the students.
Job prospect depends on the skill
As far as the employment prospect is concerned, it is not necessary to have IIT or NIT tag to get a job in the country. It is only necessary that the colleges from which the students have done graduation in engineering must have recognition from AICTE. It is the competent organization formed by the govt. to provide recognition to the technical institutes of the country. So, those students who missed cracking IIT or NIT Entrance Examinations need not be disheartened. There are hundreds of good private engineering colleges in every state of India. They can get admission there and pass out with graduate degrees in engineering. If they are skillful, they can also get the job in any company of national and international repute along with their peers from IITs or NITs.
Craze among students for IITs / NITs
IITs and NITs are run by the government. They are resourceful and they provide the better facility for research and practical work to students. They are prestigious and renowned technical institutes. So, there is the craze among the students for them. So, IIT or NIT is the first destination of every student, no matter whether he or she is of brilliant, mediocre or of average merit.

Self Preparation Requires no Help from Coaching Institute to get Success in IIT JEE

Self study is a most important factor behind success in JEE (Main) and JEE (Advanced) or any other examinations. Without self motivation and initiative, no goal can be achieved in life. If the IIT aspirants have been attending their classes in 11th and 12th regularly and thoroughly studying the topics of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from the Syllabus of IIT JEE, they need no help from coaching institutes, which have mushroom growth only to fleece money from the students, their chances of competing it with good rank become very high.

All the meritorious and deserving students do not come from the well off family. So, their parents cannot afford the fees of coaching institutes or tuition centres. But those meritorious and deserving students who have weak economic background can also compete in IIT entrance examination if they have determination and guts to do it. After competing in the entrance test, they can face no financial problem in admission to IITs and bearing their tuition fees. Almost all the state governments in the country provide financial assistance to the meritorious students to pursue their study in engineering, medical institutes etc. Apart from that, Banks also provide educational loans to students for pursuing their study. So, there is no financial hurdle for the brilliant students in pursuing their study.
The question arises in the minds of engineering aspirants that how to take self initiative to prepare for the examination like IIT JEE. They must adopt the following ways:

Manage time:
The IIT JEE aspirants who prepare for it by studying self without any help from the coaching or tuition centre must manage their time well. Time distribution is essential. They should pay equal time to all the three- Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. There must not be any mismanagement in regards to the time. If they have to study for six hours a day, they must do it regularly without any break. They have to give at least two hours each to all the three subject of the syllabus.

Set target:
Setting target to complete the certain topic of the subject must be done. There must not be any wavering from the target. It is also essential to keep in mind that success cannot come to them unless and until the target set by them is completed in time.

Regular Practice:
Regular practice of the entire syllabus must be done sincerely. To get success with high rank in IIT JEE is only possible when you would practice the previous years’ questions on all topics regularly till the end of the entrance examination. Preparation must be well balanced.

Well-planned strategy:

It is a pre-requisite to make a well-planned strategy to achieve anything big in life. Without making strategy how to study, it is no possible to get success in IIT JEE. For making the strategy of study, one needn't be coached. It is the self-awakening for achieving success.

15 Tips for Success in JEE (Main) and JEE (Advanced) 2018

All of us know that JEE (Main) and JEE (Advanced) are the toughest competitive engineering entrance examinations for admission to IITs & NITs. Being the premier technical institutes of the country, all engineering aspirants try to qualify for IIT entrance examinations in the first place. As students of science stream of class 12th are already well aware of the Syllabus of all engineering entrance examinations, we need not go into detail about it. The syllabus for Class 11th and 12th comprises almost all topics of JEE (Main) and JEE (Advanced) examinations.

Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry are the three subjects which are to be studied by students deeply to qualify in JEE(Main) 2018. First of all, the engineering students cannot compete only by memorizing all topics the questions of which are generally asked in the examination of this standard. Not only regular practice and revision but also understanding the concept very clearly is of utmost importance.

As all subjects carry equal marks, the candidates are required to pay equal attention to them all. The questions are of an objective type so the aspirants are required to go through the subject thoroughly. Regular practice of solving questions from Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry is also necessary to perform well in the examination. As far as the allotment of time to each subject is concerned, the students are advised to divide it into three parts equally for each subject.

It is also difficult for the students to compete in engineering entrance examination by scoring 100 percent in Mathematics only, and doing badly in Physics and Chemistry because they have not given equal importance to the other two subjects. So there must be a well-balanced strategy for studying the subject. Candidate mustn't ignore one subject at the cost of the other. Every subject must be given equal attention and importance so far as scoring marks are concerned. A particular JEE Main aspirant may be a little weaker in a particular subject than in other ones. But it does mean that he or she should ignore it. By ignoring any one of the three subjects, you are hurting your own prospect of success.

The 15 tips for success in JEE (Main) and JEE (Advanced) are given below:

1. Work out at least 45-85 quantitative problems daily from Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
2. Fix time limits for practicing to improve the speed of solving questions.
3. Begin your preparation with easy areas first to be accustomed to the subject.
4. Fix your priority to be given to topics to suit your requirement.
5. Make a proper analysis of your mistakes to single out a point that poses difficulty to you often.
6. Never leave the target of the day unfinished.
7. Prepare your plan for tomorrow in advance
7. Practice logical thinking regularly.
8. Don't give up half-way. Stick to your plan of study until you achieve success
9. Go through your board exam syllabus thoroughly as contents from it will be included in both JEE Main and JEE Advanced.
10. Go through the previous 10-12 years of question papers and solve them all.
11. Make a record of topics you have gone through in a day.
12. Make a chart of time table for studying the subject.
13. Stop studying a day before the exam
14. Take light food during the days of preparation for the examination

15. Be always optimistic

How to Prepare Mathematics for Success in JEE (Main) 2018

Mathematics is not only the most important but also highest scoring subject in JEE(Main) Examination. There is a properly prescribed syllabus for JEE Main Maths which is vast even if it is mostly similar to Class XII syllabus. Among the three subjects, Mathematics is vast, comprehensive and the highest scoring. It plays a vital role in the success of students for admission to IITs. It is also a most important subject in all national and state level engineering entrance tests. It is marked scoring but at the same times the most difficult one.

It is necessary for the aspirants of JEE(Main) to work hard for the preparation of Mathematics to qualify for Engineering Entrance Examination. As Mathematics matters most in IIT JEE, it also demands special attention. To prepare this subject in such a way to ensure success in the examination, its aspirants must understand that no topics prescribed in the syllabus should be missed or left. All must be paid equal attention.

It is also essentially required on the part of JEE aspirants that they must prepare a time chart how to study Mathematics in a proper way. They have also to adhere to the chart which comprises time allotted for each subject. There are three subjects- Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

Mathematics being the toughest one, students should devote more time to it than what they do with the other two. The JEE aspirants, who labour hard on working out Mathematical problems mainly the subject Physics becomes itself easy for them. They have also to confront with mathematical problems in Physics. So, by being strong in Mathematics, they get a double benefit.

Physics becomes easy for them. It is also to be kept in mind that engineering entrance examination also attaches utmost importance to Mathematics. By being weak in it, it is futile to sit in JEE (Main) or any other Engineering Entrance Examination.

The best strategy to be adopted to prepare Mathematics is to practice it constantly. Regular practice and working out Mathematical problems topic wise and their proper revision make the JEE(Main) aspirants perfect in the subject. It is also advisable to the students that they must not ignore the importance of other two subjects at the cost of Mathematics but one thing must also be kept in mind that it is the highest scoring so more time could be devoted to it for preparation.

Mathematics is also based on formula, calculation, and process.By constantly practicing the Mathematical problems, memorizing formulae, doing calculations and making processes, JEE (Main) aspirants become well-versed in the subject.

Hard labour and sincere effort help Qualify IIT JEE, AIEEE

The students of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics generally appear at entrance tests for admission to Engineering colleges. Various national and state level engineering entrance examinations are going to be held next month. All aspirants labour hard to get success in these tests. But the chances of those who relish them are high. They don’t treat them as havoc. Making the JEE (Main), JEE (Advance), AIEEE entrance tests burdensome, the students become nervous and thereby they fail to answer the questions correctly. So, the first requirement on the part of them is to keep themselves calm, cool and relaxed after putting hard labour into their preparations.

It is also commonly experienced that during the engineering entrance examination time, the pressure starts building up in the minds of the students, which is the natural way. They have to keep them off by relishing their preparations for the tests.

There is also a proverb, “Hope for the best and prepare for the worst”. It means the students must always be hopeful of their successes but put in place a contingency plan to face the worst scenario. Labour never goes in vain. If the students have studied thoroughly and extensively for the entrance tests, success is bound to come to them provided that they kept themselves calm, cool and confident while taking them. Though hard labour has no substitute, the psychology of students also matters most.

They have to be positive, optimistic and hopeful of the result if they have laboured hard for it.
Enjoying the entrance tests develop more and more interest in the minds of the students for studying the subject. They have to treat the subject of study not as a burden but as a thing of enjoyment. They must study seriously, sincerely and extensively, but at the same time, they must not be as serious for it as to make it a burden. Once the study becomes a burden for students, it is difficult for them to understand it while success in the entrance tests demands a deep knowledge of the subject.
There is no short-cut route to success. To become successful in the entrance tests for admission to engineering colleges, students are required to rejoice them.

Success and failures are the two pillars of life. If some students fail to clear the entrance test for the first time, they mustn’t be disheartened. Instead, they should appear at the test again for the second time with double force to clear it. Engineering, aspirants must not start preparing for the entrance tests hastily. Haste makes waste. So they should follow the proverb, “Slow and steady wins the race”. It means they must maintain continuity in their study hour. Preparation for JEE (Main) standard of the test is not a matter to be taken casually. It requires continuity and consistency on the part of the students. Hit and run approach towards study would take them nowhere.

The road to success never ends in life. Even if a student doesn’t qualify the entrance test for admission to engineering college, it does not mean that the road to success for him is closed. Rather, when one gate is closed, thousand others open for him. So, always be optimistic to be successful in life.
